Description

GasGas TrialGP, ready for competition

GasGas Trial GP 2019. An impressive ‘factory racing’ that takes the revolution experienced by the latest TXT Racing saga a step further with the incorporation of an extensive list of ‘racing parts’ that make it the best and most prepared trial bike From the market. An amazing equipment with high-end components and the latest generation that have made this model a cult object for trial lovers. An exclusive Trial GP series from which only a limited number of 800 units will be produced in four displacements: 125, 250, 280 and 300 cc.

A powerful and high-performance engine

The power of the new Trial GP starts inside, with a high-performance engine that releases crankshaft bearings to ensure perfect lubrication of the set and also guarantee its total tightness. A change in its design that now allows maintenance of the crankshaft seals in an easy and comfortable way from the outside.

The addition of a new S3 cylinder head and stock, along with the new Kevlar clutch and three-position variable preload discs, have further increased the performance of the powerful GasGas thrusters. An authentic version of ‘Grand Prix’, as its initials reveal, whose stainless steel hardware highlights the ‘racing’ aspect. An edition that for the 2019 season incorporates a new clutch cover, divided into two pieces, which allows the maintenance of the clutch discs in a simple way.

New swingarm and progressive link at the rear

The changes compared to its predecessor in the cycle part make up a long list of novelties that require careful reading if we do not want to miss any detail. The first, evident at an aesthetic level thanks to the improvements in the cycle and engine parts, is reflected in its exterior appearance, with an attractive and aggressive image where the colors black and red predominate in order to accentuate the ‘racing’ character of a model 100% prepared for competition.

If we go into the more technical section, the rear train -like that of its sisters in the TXT saga- is the section that has undergone the greatest transformation compared to previous models, with the incorporation of the new swingarm, now lighter and effective, and the use of a new progressive link system that, in combination with the effectiveness of the Öhlins shock absorber, has given such good results to the GasGas competition team in the world championship.

A profound renovation to which new elements such as the chain skate are added, now easily removable without the need to disassemble the swingarm, and the easily mounted chain tensioner, with bearings and greater protection. As well as the new brake pump, FIM brake disc with protector, anchored directly to the brake caliper, and a new guide for the rear brake hose, which has a new crown protector. A very complete rear set that could not miss the lightweight black competition wheels used by the great trial stars.

Carbon fiber filter box

The innovations in the central cycle part are also evident if we look at the improvements to the chassis, with a new chassis-swingarm fixing. Quality and sophistication details for new GasGas TrialGP models with a carbon fiber filter housing and aluminum Hard Rock footrests, the 2019 edition of which now sports its distinctive numbered stainless steel plate. The unmistakable sign of being at the controls of an authentic limited edition competition.

Continuing with the list of news and highlights of the new GasGas TrialGP, if we focus on the front axle, it is worth noting the new front brake and clutch pump assembly, and the new design of the front fender.
