2018 SX 50/Factory

The Aprilia SX 50 is a 50cc supermoto with a two-stroke engine and liquid cooling that complies with Euro4 regulations thanks to the new engine mounted in 2018. This modern engine has a separate lubrication, electric start and an electronic carburettor that is responsible for markedly reduce emissions.

The SX’s chassis is a steel perimeter, the same material that has been used in the swingarm, which offers good resistance without the weight of the set being excessive. Braking has been entrusted to a team of discs placed on each wheel, the 260mm front bitten by a floating caliper – the rear is 220mm. The suspensions are long-distance, with a conventional fork with 37 mm bars at the front and a mono-shock at the rear with a travel of 200 mm.

In 2018, new easy-to-read digital instrumentation was added, which is protected behind the front optics.
