Description
The versatile and original Honda X-ADV has launched a new segment between the motorcycle and the megascooter, the city and the countryside, being in its own right the first crossover on the market.
In 2018 the dual-clutch transmission (DCT) receives an off-road switch G and places the insertion point for higher rev speeds. On the other hand, the engine incorporates 2 levels of Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), that is, traction control with two levels of intervention that can also be deactivated to tackle journeys on tracks.
The X-ADV’s engine is the well-known 745 cc in-line twin cylinder. With a power of 54.8 hp at 6,250 rpm, and a torque of 68 Nm at 4,750 rpm, which is a great response at low and medium speed.
Its consumption is reduced, below 4 liters per 100 kilometers, so its autonomy is greater than 300 kilometers thanks to the 13 liters that fit in its tank.
The X-ADV features Honda’s DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) with two automatic modes (D and S) and one manual. The D mode is intended for use in the city with congested traffic, while the S is the most sporty and in turn offers three levels that can be selected by the pilot.
