Like its sister in the range, the new Indian Chief Vintage arrives equipped with the new 1,811 cc V-Twin Thunder Stroke 111 air-cooled twin-cylinder engine delivering 74 hp power and excellent 135 Nm torque. All of this torque is delivered at just over 2,000 rmp and ensures good acceleration and top speed.
In the suspension section, the Chief Vintage equips the conventional telescopic fork at the front with 46mm tubes and a 119mm stroke, while behind it the system is by means of a simple shock absorber which can be adjusted with 94mm of preload.
This model of the custom bagger motorcycle from Indian Motorcycles comes equipped as standard with the ABS system and 2 floating 300mm discs on the front bitten by four-piston calipers. On the rear wheel it equips 1 disc with similar characteristics with a two-piston caliper.
16-inch spoke wheels fit Dunlop Elite 130 / 90B16 67H white-band tires at the front and 180 / 65B16 81H at the front, covered in part by sleek fender flaps and brake caliper covers that highlight the style of this Indian.
Other features that should be highlighted this new Indian Chief Vintage are the large center console on the tank that offers all the necessary information, the large chrome finish, the standard saddlebags made of leather and with the quick extraction system.
It also has the pilot has the keyless ignition system and cruise control, promoting their travel skills. As usual for the brand, the “Indian head” is present on the front fender, as well as a special badge on the fuel tank that has a capacity of 20.8 liters, ensuring great autonomy.
The new Indian Chief Vintage has a weight of 379 Kg in running order and as a good custom bagger motorcycle it has a low seat height that is only 66 mm making it accessible to users of any size.
