Description
The NC750S has a version with the semi-automatic transmission system with double clutch. The DCT system uses 2 clutches, the first is responsible for start-up, the 1st, 3rd and 5th speeds. The 2nd, 4th and 6th speeds are entrusted to the second clutch. Each clutch is independently controlled with its own electro-hydraulic circuit, this greatly favors driving in any circumstance.
The DCT allows two automatic modes and one manual. The automatic ones are the D, which is the standard, and the S, which is the Sport, which in turn has three submodes to adapt the behavior of the engine to the style of each one. The manual mode, AT, is always without a clutch, using two buttons placed on the handlebar to raise or lower gear. The DCT also has “Adaptive Clutch Capability Control”, which manages the amount of torque that is sent to the clutch at all times. This improves throttle response and smoothness in all types of speed.
