Description

The first thing that catches the eye is the aesthetics that have been retouched keeping intact its characteristic 100% avant-garde lines that are also supported by new optics with Full LED lighting.

The frame is lighter and its new double cradle structure has made it possible to gain space for both the legs (which can now be stretched) and the space under the seat; by winning a liter of capacity it reaches 28 and this not only allows us to house a full face helmet but also more objects that accompany us daily. The wheelbase is cut 2 mm to leave it at 1,313 mm, while maintaining the same steering dimensions that make handling so easy.

Wheels and tires are another important element that changes. Eight-spoke wheels (down from five) are now lighter thanks to the hollow hub that saves 0.2 kg in the front and 0.5 kg in the rear. In addition, the new tires grow to 100 / 80-14 at the front and 120 / 70-14 at the rear, instead of 90 / 90-14 and 100 / 90-14).

The front suspension is maintained but the rear has been relocated towards the rear of the bike and now it has a triple effect spring so that the feeling of smoothness is greater, thus increasing comfort.

Braking maintains the combined scheme and also receives a significant improvement by receiving a single-channel ABS system that acts only on the front brake. Behind it is equipped a drum brake.

The engine has also been improved by gaining power at high revs without losing its good performance at lows, offering a figure of 12.2 hp. This has been accomplished with a larger capacity air filter housing, larger injection bodies, as well as the new radiator and a new internal exhaust structure. And it maintains the “Idling Stop” system that stops the motor when the scooter stops to reduce consumption and polluting emissions.

Therefore, the benefits are increased but maintaining extremely low consumption figures that are around 2l / 100 km. This gives an autonomy of about 400 km with only 8 liters of capacity.

Instrumentation is another element that changes completely to present itself with a more modern image and with clearer information. It is an inverted LCD screen with the necessary information that includes the average consumption. The glove box lid where there is a 12 V socket has increased in size to carry larger objects, such as a bottle of water.
