Description
The AJP PR7 Adventure 650 is a trail very focused on off-road, with a Dakar image that few bikes can currently offer. Per displacement -600 cc- it is out of the main competitions -limitation to 450 cc-, but due to its characteristics it becomes an ideal mount for long crossings and races open to larger motorcycles, which are the majority among amateur riders.
The engine of the PR7 is a single cylinder 4T manufactured by SWM whose power is 60 hp and is powered by Delphi electronic injection. Thanks to its low consumption and its 17-liter tank, the autonomy of the PR7 is very high.
Despite its size, it barely exceeds 150 kg of dry weight, a figure more than acceptable for a motorcycle of these characteristics, which also by carrying the tank under the seat manages to focus the weight as much as possible and makes the motorcycle more stable and easier to handle.
The suspensions are also at a high level, mounting Sachs components on both trains: 48mm diameter fork and progressive monoshock, both adjustable and with 300mm of travel. The front disc is oversized -300 mm-. The chassis is different from that of the enduro PR5, the PR7 has relied on a double aluminum beam.
The front is truly eye-catching, with a wrap-around, clear display that lets you see the dual optics upright and the instrument cluster. The optional support for placing a tablet on which to install navigation apps stands out.
