The culture of transformed and custom bikes is deeply rooted in American culture, among others, and Indian Motorcycles has wanted to respond to Scout lovers who transformed their models into a Bobber style.
The development department of the American brand has used the well-known Indian Scout as a base and its 1,133 cc liquid-cooled V-Twin engine as a base. It delivers a maximum power of 95 CV and a torque of 98 Nm at 5,900 rpm. With these figures it offers excellent acceleration and top speed.
The new Scout Bobber 2018 arrives with a modified dimensions compared to the standard version, rear footrests, a lowered suspension and with a cartridge-type front fork. In addition Indian Motorcycles has provided this model with a new wide and flat handlebar.
This model comes equipped with some new blacked out tires and wheels on its 16-inch wheels fitted with 130 / 90-16 73H and 150 / 80-16 71H tires. The brake system, in addition to the standard ABS, equips a front 298 mm disc with double caliper, while behind it mounts one of the same dimensions with single caliper.
Other features of the new 2018 Indian Scout Bobber is includes a black headlight housing, minimal engine covers, and vented thermal exhaust guards. It also incorporates a black speedometer dial (instead of the usual red and cream) and a black exhaust.
Trimmed front and rear fenders, a new two-tone leather bobber seat, and an Indian badge on the fuel tank complete the ensemble of the new Scout Bobber.
