ENGINE
Offering the highest level of performance in the Husqvarna enduro range, the 510.4 cc engine is more advanced than ever, but weighing in at just 30.1 kg.
CYLINDER HEAD
The compact SOHC cylinder head offers maximum performance and minimum weight. The new camshaft drives four light valves (titanium Ø = 40 mm and 32.6 g inlet and steel Ø = 33 mm and 42.6 g exhaust) through a robust rocker arm system .
CRANKSHAFT CRANKCASE
The crankcases are designed to position the axles and internal components of the engine in the best possible position, centering the masses to achieve maximum light touch and behavior. The high pressure casting process allows a thin but reliable wall thickness to keep weight to a minimum.
CRANKSHAFT
A flat connecting rod bearing and two pressure-mounted bushings guarantee maximum reliability and durability, and long maintenance intervals of up to 135 hours.
MOLYBDENO CHROME STEEL CHASSIS
The hydroformed, laser-cut and robot-welded chassis is expertly manufactured by WP Performance Systems. The chassis flex characteristics have been specifically designed to enhance suspension functionality, handling and comfort. Chassis and engine fenders installed as standard and directly anchored to the frame guarantee excellent protection and durability.
CARBON FIBER AND COMPOSITE MATERIAL SUBCHASSIS
The composite subframe is a unique Husqvarna design that showcases pioneering technologies and innovation. This 3-piece component is made of 30% carbon fiber, making it extremely light (1.4 kg) and strong. Special care has been taken to achieve the ideal stiffness in order to achieve better behavior and optimum ergonomics.
FUNCTIONAL BODYWORK
A distinctive and futuristic bodywork further enhances the enduro range, while graphics in dramatic pearl blue and electric yellow colors decorate the sleek Swedish-inspired design. Advanced ergonomics provide maximum comfort and control, allowing the rider to perform at their best for longer.
ALUMINUM SWINGARM
The hollow cast aluminum swingarm is designed to offer optimum rigidity and reliability while adding the least possible weight. Machining at the top of the rear axle allows a better view of the timing marks of the chain tensioner, which makes it easier to carry out this task.
WP XPLOR 48
The WP Xplor 48 front fork has been developed by WP Performance Systems specifically for enduro riding. This fork features an open cartridge design with a spring on each bar and with separate damping functions.
REAR SHOCK ABSORBER WP
The WP DCC rear shock is designed to provide advanced damping characteristics while retaining a lightweight and compact design. With a balanced pressure inside the shock absorber, the stroke is more fluid, which translates into greater comfort and manageability, while the corrugated outer surface of the tank improves cooling.
WHEELS AND TIRES
Sturdy black DID alloy wheels mate with machined hubs using new lightweight spokes with silver anodized aluminum nipples. In combination with these new rims, Metzeler 6 Days Extreme tires offer superior grip on a wide variety of terrain.
MECHANIZED STEERING PLATES
CNC machined, black anodized headrests with 22mm feed provide excellent quality and look across the entire Husqvarna range of enduro models. These steering decks have been manufactured with the most advanced technical procedures and materials to offer the highest quality and reliability. The handlebar comes standard with a two-way adjustment function that allows ergonomics to be adapted to the rider’s needs.
ACCESS TO THE AIR FILTER WITHOUT TOOLS
The new air filter box has carefully studied ducts to prevent air deformation and ensure maximum flow and filter protection. The air filter is very easy to access and no tools are needed: just remove the left side cover. Easy maintenance is guaranteed thanks to the design of the Twin Air filter and its support, which incorporates a simple fail-safe system for a precise and safe installation of the filter element.
ENGINE POWER CURVE SELECTOR AND TRACTION CONTROL
Optimized for easier operation, the map change switch also includes a new traction control function. The traction control can be connected or disconnected by means of said switch, and its operation is based on the analysis of the signal received by the pilot from the gas grip and the rate at which the RPM increases in the engine. If the RPM increases too rapidly, the control unit will record a loss of grip and reduce the amount of power delivered to the rear wheel to ensure maximum traction.
MAGURA BRAKE SYSTEM
The high-quality Magura brake system has been designed to offer optimum sensitivity and progressive feel, in addition to the highest level of performance. 260mm front and 220mm rear disc.
ELECTRICAL START
The standard electric start ensures easy engine start-up in all situations. The system is powered by a lightweight and powerful lithium ion battery that weighs 1 kg less than a conventional lead acid battery.
