Description
While the new Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro provides impressive performance, power delivery is kept in check thanks to Riding Modes, the new Ride by Wire feature that ensures smoother throttle control and exceptional safety, and the DQS ( Ducati Quick Shift) Up & Down, which significantly improves the driving experience by ensuring smooth and precise gear shifting and gear that meshes perfectly.
Thanks to the spoke wheels – 19 ” at the front and 17 ” at the rear – the Multistrada 1260 Enduro is ideal for long-distance adventure routes. With Sachs semi-active electronic suspensions (185mm of travel both front and rear) and a 30-liter fuel tank, the Multistrada 1260 Enduro is, with a minimum range of 450km, an unstoppable globetrotter on any terrain.
A revised geometry (lower seat, handlebars and center of gravity than the 1200 version) and new suspension settings guarantee greater comfort and fun for any user and in any condition.
The electronic equipment of the new Multistrada 1260 Enduro represents the most advanced in the segment. The new Bosch Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) 6-axis inertial platform controls ABS with cornering assist, Cornering Lights (DCL) and Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC). The user can adjust both the DWC and DTC in one of the 8 different levels, or simply deactivate them. Vehicle Hold Control (VHC) is also offered as standard on the Multistrada 1260 Enduro, which makes it easier to start on slopes, especially at full load. Lastly, the Bosch IMU also interacts with the Ducati Skyhook Suspension (DSS) Evolution semi-active suspension control system.
A new and sophisticated human-machine interface (Human Machine Interface, HMI) guarantees – through a large TFT color display and controls on the handlebars – intuitive management of all the bike’s functions and settings, including the Ducati Multimedia System (DMS). The DMS allows the motorcycle to be connected to the smartphone via Bluetooth, giving access to all key multimedia functions (incoming calls, text messages and music). The Multistrada 1260 Enduro also features cruise control and a hands-free starting system.
The Multistrada 1260 Enduro offers long maintenance intervals: the oil should only be changed every 15,000 km while the Desmo Service is required every 30,000 km. The result? Carefree driving, even on the longest adventures.
The Multistrada 1260 Enduro is offered in two colors: Sand and Ducati Red.
