Avant-garde, stylized and ‘racing’ line

GasGas has completely reinvented its great icon in trial. A TXT Racing 2019 range that is presented to Trial lovers with many new features. The first of these, evident to the naked eye, on an aesthetic level with a completely renewed graphics and an accentuated ‘racing’ appearance. All this thanks to the stylization of its lines and the originality of elements such as the new front fender, integrated into the suspension bridge, or the combination of basic colors such as black, red and white in the plastic and the embellishment of parts like the new aluminum swingarm or clutch cover.

The rear axle shows the notable changes that the new GasGas TXT Racing have incorporated in its cycle part, with the release of its new swingarm and most of the peripheral components associated with the rear axle. A long list of what’s new on this rear headed by the addition of a new, more effective master cylinder, a new disc guard, anchored directly to the caliper, and a new guide to the rear brake hose, which features a new crown protector. In addition to a practical easel with a new projection to facilitate its extension with the sole of the boot, a new removable chain skid without the need to undo the swingarm and an easily mounted chain tensioner, which now enjoys greater protection.

New swingarm and rear axle

New elements in the rear axle are added to the new aluminum swingarm with progressive link system, the Öhlins two-way hydraulic monoshock -with a travel of 174 millimeters- and the new anchor between the swingarm. These innovations include a tubular chrome-molybdenum chassis and a motor with double-sealed bearings to the outside, which provide watertightness and provide the whole with a perfect balance between stability, traction and reaction capacity of the rear damping in the trial areas more demanding and committed for pilots.

An absolute redesign of the swingarm and rear link that give a new progressiveness to the models of the new GasGas TXT Racing 2019 range, increasing their stability and improving traction and precision of the rear axle.

Maximum reliability and great performance

Often the exterior changes are a reflection of an internal renovation, as in the case of the new TXT Racing, whose models this season adopt relevant innovations in the engine section. If we go deep into its heart, we find one of the main modifications of this model: new crankshaft bearings that ensure correct lubrication of the engine, guarantee the tightness of the assembly and, in turn, allow its comfortable and easy maintenance from the outside .

The new trial range of the Girona firm will be manufactured in the usual engines of 300, 280, 250 and 125 cubic centimeters, betting on its compact and lightweight 2T single-cylinder water-cooled engines with six-speed gearbox.

The proven reliability and resistance of its engines include new Kevlar clutch discs, with a new spring and a new variable preload. In this same section, the clutch cover is one of the remarkable novelties of this edition. A cover divided into two parts in order to simplify access and maintenance, and in turn facilitate the removal of the clutch discs, a maneuver that now only requires the simple operation of removing the outer cover.
