Description
A new addition to the ever-expanding Voge catalog, this time in the 300 cc displacement. However, and although Voge usually shares the same base with other models in its family, the new Rally has its own personality as it resorts to an original and unique in the brand double beam frame with double steel cradle that is completed with a robust swingarm in cast aluminum. In addition, following the trends of this type of motorcycle, the Voge 300 Rally completes this perimeter structure with a bolted rear subframe that facilitates repair and maintenance tasks.
Its aesthetics are striking, following the trends of the official models participating in the major African rallies, especially the Dakar which has just ended. Especially in its front part with that double headlight optics that is independent of the steering and joins the rest of the bodywork of the bike through moldings. On the headlight assembly is mounted a screen-windshield in smoked tone that perfectly covers the pilot and protects the set of the instrument panel based on a very complete LCD widescreen backlit with three different colors to choose from, and equipped on the left side of a very practical USB socket to connect a cell phone and use it as a GPS navigator.
To improve its “off-road” behavior, the Voge 300 Rally uses wheels with very “camper” measures of 21 and 18 inches and, of course, with spoked wheels whose rims have been painted in very striking two-tone tones. The tires used are very sticky block with good predisposition to use on asphalt sections. Both wheels are equipped with powerful disc brakes complemented by an ABS antilock braking system that can be switched off for off-road use by means of a switch integrated into the left rearview mirror bracket.
In terms of suspension, the Voge 300 Rally uses top quality elements such as an inverted fork and rear monoshock supported by connecting rods that provide their respective wheels with a long travel to absorb the irregularities of off-road use. The “off-road” equipment is completed with a crankcase protector on the double cradle, some very well collected side tube fenders and a rear luggage rack that also serves as handles for the passenger and is ready to receive a kit of side cases and Top Case to reinforce its adventurous spirit on long-distance trips.
The engine uses the 292 cc engine common to the rest of the 300 family (AC, ACX, DS and R). It is a liquid-cooled single-cylinder with a six-speed gearbox and a DOHC 4-valve cylinder head. Compared to the rest of the Voge 300 range, this engine has more power and torque under Euro 5 homologation: 29 hp at 8,500 rpm and 25 Nm at 7,000 rpm.
