Description

CHASSIS

The lightweight Trellis-type chassis is made of high-quality chrome molybdenum steel and has been developed to ensure precise maneuverability and inspire complete confidence in the rider. Thanks to precisely calculated torsional stiffness and longitudinal flexibility, the pilot receives exceptional response.

POLYAMIDE REAR TANK AND SUBCHASSIS

The independent rear subframe with an integrated 13-liter fuel tank boasts a unique position allowing for the best possible weight distribution. Manufactured using a rotational molding process for thermoplastics, the one-piece structure weighs only 5.2 kg and is made of high-strength polyamide.

ALUMINUM SWINGARM

Maximum precision and an extremely low weight of just 3.9 kg are guaranteed by eliminating welds on the one-piece structure of the aluminum swingarm made by gravity casting.

WP SUSPENSION (FRONT)

WP Performance Systems has developed a 4CS closed cartridge fork specifically for the 701 ENDURO. The four-chamber fork has improved damping characteristics and is also lighter than a conventional inverted fork. As with all WP 4CS forks, the governor settings can be adjusted quickly and easily using the knobs on the top of the fork arms.

WP (BACK)

The high performance rear shock manufactured by WP Performance Systems is fully adjustable in compression and extension. Connected to a link system with offroad geometry and 275mm of rear wheel travel, this system guarantees unsurpassed off-road capability.

ENGINE

The liquid-cooled single cylinder engine with a single overhead camshaft represents the latest in electronics design and technology. The pilot will answer all his doubts about the incredible performance of this lightweight package as soon as he experiences the enormous maximum power of 55 kW (74 hp) that it delivers at 8,000 rpm and the torque of 71 N · m at 6750 rpm.

BUTT

The compact design of the cylinder head with a single overhead camshaft features two 42mm intake valves and two 34mm exhaust valves, driven by a robust rocker arm system, ensuring precise high-speed timing. The ignition system employs two spark plugs, each with its own ignition timing control for optimal gasoline combustion in the large diameter combustion chamber.

ELECTRONIC ACCELERATION

The Keihin electronic gasoline injection system features a 50mm butterfly valve body with no mechanical articulation on the gas grip. The engine management system (EMS) electronically regulates the throttle valve according to the way the pilot operates the throttle grip. The EMS continually compares engine parameters with data from sensors and adjusts the throttle valve accordingly, resulting in perfect throttle response and power delivery.

GEARBOX

It incorporates a lightweight 6-speed gearbox with smooth and precise shifting that gives the rider confidence and perfect control even under extreme conditions.

WHEEL

Black DID wheels made of high-strength aluminum alloy, combined with silver lug nuts, add an aggressive and modern look to the Enduro 701. The offroad capabilities of the Enduro 701 are underlined by the wheel size: 21 ”for the front and 18 “for the rear.

INTAKE RESONATOR

The intake resonator, located in the body of the throttle valve, improves the charge movement of the air intake and increases throttle response and piloting ability, especially in the throttle initial open positions.

BRAKES

Bosch’s latest ABS technology is characterized by advanced adjustment for offroad conditions, combined with high-performance Brembo brakes: a floating two-piston brake caliper and disc at the front, and a single-piston brake caliper and a disc at the rear (both floating Wave discs with diameters 300 and 240 mm respectively). Controls are perfectly positioned for optimum balance and feel in all conditions.

ANTI-JUMP CLUTCH

The Adler APTC (Adler Power Torque Clutch) clutch allows higher speeds when entering and exiting a curve, as it considerably improves the grip of the rear wheel when accelerating sharply, and avoids jumps and instability in said wheel when braking hard. at the vertex of a curve. The pilot will therefore enjoy maximum control and will be able to reduce speed without complications.

BODYWORK

The innovative body stands out for a long seat that reaches up to the radiator protection and that includes a series of functional grooves that improve grip in any situation. The 701’s bodywork wraps around the engine and chassis perfectly, and features an ergonomic design that connects the rider’s body to the bike for perfect harmony between man and machine, providing full control in any situation.

STEERING PLATES MACHINED BY CNC

As with the other major chassis components, the CNC machined and anodized steering cleats feature a precise flex design, designed to allow for bending of the fork tubes under tension. This gives the rider a greater feeling in braking and on bumpy terrain.

MAGURA HYDRAULIC CLUTCH

Light touch and perfect modulation of the clutch.

COMPATIBLE WITH THE A2 PERMIT

With the A2 license specific engine map limiting power to 30 kW, the Enduro 701 is suitable for riders who have such a permit and aspire to be true globetrotters.
