Description
Kawasaki River Mark
The Ninja H2R had the honor of wearing the KHI “River Mark” logo. Normally, this logo is reserved for those products, which within KHI, have a special historical relevance.
Transmission “Dog-ring”
To facilitate a quick and smooth change, a “Dog-ring” exchange rate has been chosen. This is the type of change commonly used in MotoGP or F1, and has been developed in conjunction with the Kawasaki Racing Team’s engineering team.
Factory designed supercharged motor
The supercharged engine used in the H2 was designed by Kawasaki Motorcycle design engineers with the help of other teams within the KHI Group.
“Supercharged” emblem
The “Supercharged” emblem accentuates the power offered by the Ninja H2’s supercharged engine. Colors express the uniqueness of this high-performance machine, while graphics represent speed.
Carbon fiber upper fairing
The upper carbon fiber fairing quickly distinguishes itself from the H2. Creating an image similar to the Ninja H2R, carbon fiber enhances its presence.
Engine designed to deliver not less than 300HP
Despite using a standard in-line 4-cylinder configuration, the Ninja H2 is equipped with specific technology for this over-powered engine and set to deliver no less than the spectacular 300hp.
Bosch IMU
Using the Bosch IMU allows an additional level of precision added to the already high level of the KTRC, KLCM and KIBS. The incorporation of an IMU allows to control the inertia throughout 6 DOF (degrees of freedom). It measures the acceleration in the longitudinal, transverse and vertical axes, in addition to the bank frequency and the pitch frequency.
KCMF (Kawasaki Cornering Management Function)
Using the latest evolution of this software and the information provided by the Bosch IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit), KCMF monitors engine and chassis parameters along the curve – from the entrance, through the apex, and to the Cornering Exit – modulating braking force and engine power leads to smooth transition smoothly, and to help riders make the best layout. In Ninja H2, the KCMF monitors the following systems:
- KTRC (including traction including 3 modes)
- KLCM (output control)
- KIBS (Kawasaki Intelligent Brake Control System)
- Kawasaki Motor Brake Control
High-tech paint
The paint used on the Ninja H2R has been specially developed by Kawasaki. It is highly reflective with a metallic appearance and adds a spectacular and high-quality appearance to the motorcycle. Although it may look like the finish used in some custom customizations, the paint on the Ninja H2R is unique and used for the first time on a series production bike.
