The Xciting 400 is a sports-cut megascooter that in 2017 has been renovated to meet the requirements of the Euro4 regulation, but which maintains all the virtues that make it one of the most attractive medium-high-displacement scooters. The cycle part of the Xciting 400 is at the same level as the engine, highlighting the mounting of a 41 mm diameter fork and a double seatpost system, which is not usual for scooters but it is for motorcycles. This gives greater stiffness and precision when braking, at which point its two 280 mm diameter front discs bitten by radial anchoring calipers. Behind it has a disc, also lobed, 240 mm in diameter. ABS is signed by Bosch with its two-tier 9.1 system.

The image of the Xciting 400 has also been modified in 2017, having in this latest version a more modern aesthetic and more in line with what the competition offers. A design that is not at odds with security, on the contrary, the placement of the lights seek greater visibility. In the front, in fact, some position lights have been mounted with LED light diffusion technology, much more visible in daylight than the previous separate diodes, also LEDs. This LED light diffusion technology is also used in the tail light.

Although it is a sports scooter, the Kymco Xcting 400 takes care of ride comfort, hence its generously dimensioned dome, which can also be adjusted in two positions. The suspensions and seat, exclusively for the Spanish market, also seek to make the pilot as comfortable as possible on board.

Finally, Kymco intends that its Xciting 400 remains in that premium segment in terms of finishes, hence details such as adjustable handles, LED light inside the hood, parking brake, folding footrests for the companion and complete instrumentation
