Description

The V9 Bobber designation evokes concepts such as the simplicity of its shapes, the purity of the design and for all this a certain originally sporty inclination, also standing out for its completely matt black look. It is the sporty “custom” of Moto Guzzi that effectively inaugurates the standard bobber segment in medium-displacement bikes, in which the V9 is currently its sole representative. Bobber was born in the United States after the Second World War by passionate pilots who were characterized by the elimination of all superfluous elements that are useless in racing on clay.

To ride in these conditions, the riders had to use oversized tires that managed to guarantee greater grip on the ground. Complementing that look, the V9 Bobber ditches any chrome or gloss paint to highlight all its matte black accents. Dark as night are the sides of the bike and the fuel tank, with the only concession of some details in yellow and matte red. The exhaust system, the rear-view mirrors and the metallic fenders have also been painted in matt black, in which the rear has been reduced in size to accommodate a very compact optical group that contributes decisively to achieving the minimalist “look” from the V9 Bobber.

The rims are also in 16-inch matte black and finely decorated with the Moto Guzzi logo in gray, fitted with generous 130/90 front and 150/80 rear tires. With these spectacular wheels, characteristic of their peculiar design, the motorcycle maintains exceptional handling and handling qualities. V9 Bobber is thus an authentic Moto Guzzi and as such does not at any time sacrifice ease of driving in favor of aesthetics. The V9 Bobber differs from the V9 Roamer also in its sportier, more collected riding position, thanks to the use of a black painted low drag bar and a unique long seat.

The ground clearance of the Bobber remains at 770 mm. And if you add to this a very contained weight of just 199 kilos in running order, you can easily imagine what level of comfort, control and driving pleasure the V9 Bobber will be able to offer.
