Moto Guzzi

Moto Guzzi (in Italy also known as Guzzi dry), is the name of a famous Italian motorcycle manufacturer, founded on March 15, 1921 by Carlo Guzzi, Giorgio Parodi (aviation pilots assigned to the same squad on the outskirts of Venice) and mechanic Giovanni Ravelli. Over time, the firm has been controlled by different companies and in 2004, it becomes part of the Piaggio Group (it is again controlled by Italian capitals), and in 2005, Daniele Bandiera, is appointed General Director of Moto Guzzi SpA.
The company has produced more than 50 models since its foundation and for years, has specialized in the manufacture of two-cylinder engines in V at 90 º. On rare occasions, their engines were installed in vehicles of other small manufacturers of special motorcycles such as: Magni, Ghezzi & Brian, Desoto and Mako Shark. At present (year 2012), it continues its production in the same city of origin.
