Description
Never before has an F1 champion been directly involved in the creation of a new bike, and this could only happen with an MV Agusta. To the intrinsic value of a Dragster RR with the special pieces and the most precious finishes, adds the value of collecting.
There are many high-end details: from the saddle, in embroidered leather with finely stitched alcantara seat, to the many ergal parts (handlebar levers, tank cap, brake master cylinder cover) anodized with the special shade of Red that is repeated in the logos, the frame, the treads and the spectacular spoke wheels. Another feature of the Dragster RR LH44 is the adjustable semi-handlebars and matt black finishes, such as the side stand, the frame plates or the footrests.
Like every RR, the Dragster offers “something else.” The most powerful engine in its class. Developed from the three-cylinder that equips the Brutale 800 and Brutale Dragster 800, this latest version of this engine develops 140 hp at 13,100 rpm. Don’t waste time searching – the only place you’ll find an equally powerful 800cc three-cylinder engine is in another MV Agusta, the F3 800. Create an engine as light and compact as possible. Combine racing performance with exceptional ease of use. These were the goals they set for themselves when they designed the three-cylinder engine – goals that the Brutale 800 Dragster RR’s engine accomplished admirably.
In the cycle part, it maintains the same levels as the rest of the three cylinder Brutale family. The wheelbase is only 1,380 mm. As for wheels, the protagonist is its striking Pirelli Diablo Rosso from the rear axle. The chassis structure uses a solution common to the latest generation MV Agusta: an ALS multitubular frame chassis, with aluminum profiles integrated in the rear area that act as a pivot for the swingarm. The suspension uses equally advanced and perfectly integrated components. The Dragster RR features an adjustable CRC steering damper. The Marzocchi inverted fork, 43 mm. in diameter, it uses aluminum struts, being now lighter attractive due to its striking red anodizing. In addition, the DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coating improves its glide and therefore provides greater precision. Behind, the Sachs adjustable damper, 125 mm. travel, keeps its configuration attached to the single-arm swingarm,
