V4 RR, The TT racer reborn. Many motorcycles boast of being bred on the race track, but the new Norton V4 RR is the reborn TT racer, developed on the world’s toughest race track and now redefined for the road.
There is only one thing that bikers fascinate us more than a performance bike: a performance bike developed by a small factory and assembled by hand. This is the Norton V4 RR, a motorcycle that drinks the waters of the experience accumulated over the years in races on the Isle of Man.
The result is what you can see in the photos, an exquisite motorcycle, with a purely British appearance, with a design that differs from any fashion on the market and that offers an out of the ordinary set. V4 engine with 1,200 cc and more than 200 hp, NASA technology, suspensions from another world and, above all, a lot of carbon fiber.
Born from Norton’s deepest passion for evolving its Tourist Trophy racing bike, the Norton V4 RR inherits the best from an admirable factory. Fully developed on the Isle of Man itself and assembled by hand, this Superbike with more than a liter of displacement is the greatest exponent of British sportsmanship.
Without being regulated by any specific regulation, the engine chosen for its staging is a block of four cylinders in a vee at 72 degrees that cubes 1,200 cubic centimeters. Tightened almost until the teeth break, its compression ratio rises to 13.6: 1.
The result is a power that is not surprising, but it does excite: more than 200 horses as delivered to its customers. Optionally, a non-homologated full titanium exhaust can be ordered, which reduces weight by 8 kg and increases power by more than 10 horsepower.
