Description
Based on the KTM 690 Duke, Husqvarna has developed this avant-garde cafe racer-style naked that offers both a strong aesthetic character and blatant sportiness at the controls. With a single cylinder 75 HP and 72 Nm motor, fun is guaranteed. Also for holders of the A2 license since it has a specific motor map to easily limit it to 33 kW at the factory.
Husqvarna is committed to endowing its Vitpilen with a unique and sweeping personality, in the image and likeness of its little sister, the Vitpilen 401. A minimalist and precious body features delicate details such as the Mokka leather-trimmed seat or a machined fuel cap. the Husqvarna logo.
The semi-handlebars are essential in their character, although logically they sacrifice some comfort for the benefit of easily adopting a sporty posture. And they are also anchored to machined aluminum steering bars in whose center the “Vitpilen” logo is engraved.
The instrumentation is another of its glimpses of quality and design, formed by a single fully digital sphere in which it offers abundant information. And it has full LED lighting, with two unique optics, especially the front circular headlight thanks to a peripheral ring that is daylight or DRL.
The equipment and quality of this naked are evident by taking a look at these two important factors. It stands out the change system that allows up and down gears without using the clutch lever.
The APTC hydraulically actuated slipper clutch is another good driving aid, especially on such a sporty bike. The 43mm WP inverted fork is adjustable and works in conjunction with a WP monoshock that is also adjustable. The swingarm is made of cast aluminum and also accommodates the license plate support anchorage that carries the integrated turn signals, to free the entire part of the seat that is presented free of any element that threatens its clean lines.
In the brakes section we find a double Brembo radial anchor caliper and four pistons for a single 320 mm disc that is assisted by a disconnectable two-channel 9M + ABS, supplied by Bosch.
And to control all the torque to the rear wheel in strong accelerations, it also has traction control thanks to its electronic throttle.
