ENGINE
Weighing in at just 27.2kg and exuberant 58hp, the FC 350’s engine has been engineered with performance first. It is also one of the lightest engines on the market.
CYLINDER HEAD
The FC 350 incorporates an updated cylinder head casting process, resulting in a weight saving of 200g. Inside we find polished camshafts and DLC-treated valve pushers, all resulting in minimal friction and unsurpassed overall performance, allowing the engine to run freely up to 13,400 rpm.
CYLINDER & PISTON
With a bore of 88mm and a stroke of 57.5mm, the cylinder offers a compression ratio of 14: 1 and incorporates a large diameter, forged piston type bridged-box while being lightweight. As a result, the low oscillating masses offer exceptional power levels, high revs and a very wide usable rev band.
CRANKSHAFT
At the heart of the powerful and revolutionized engine of the FC 350 is a crankshaft with a flat connecting rod bearing and two pressure-installed bushings, guaranteeing maximum reliability and durability and long maintenance intervals of up to 100 hours.
FUNCTIONAL BODYWORK
The FC 350 2019 features a new bodywork that showcases the characteristic Swedish colors, refined ergonomics and a sober and slim design. A new low profile seat reduces height by 10mm and is combined with a high-grip upholstery for superior control and comfort in all conditions.
LIGHTWEIGHT CHASSIS
Precisely engineered for a perfect balance of torsional and longitudinal flex, the chassis offers enhanced ride sensation, energy absorption and straight-line stability. The chassis is finished with a premium powder blue paint coating and standard guards that guarantee unmatched protection and durability.
CARBON FIBER SUBCHASSIS
The new two-piece rear subframe in composite material made of 70% polyamide and 30% carbon fiber is a Husqvarna Motorcycles exclusive design that allows a weight saving of 250 g. Apart from a remarkable robustness, special care has been taken to achieve perfect rigidity for optimal behavior and comfort.
SWINGARM
The hollow cast aluminum swingarm is designed to offer optimum rigidity and reliability with the lowest possible weight. For 2019, the chain adjustment range has been increased by 5mm, thereby increasing the wheelbase to improve straight-line stability on fast, wavy runs.
MAP CHANGE SWITCH
Designed for easy, single-finger operation, the map change switch is part of the FC 350’s standard equipment. This allows riders to easily choose between 2 engine maps, enable start control and traction control. .
ENGINE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
The KEIHIN EMS has been designed to be smaller, lighter, and faster in data processing. It integrates the output control for perfect starts, motor curves selectable through the handlebar switch and traction control.
44 MM THROTTLE BODY
The FC 350 is equipped with a 44mm KEIHIN throttle body that ensures maximum efficiency of fuel flow to the combustion chamber, while maintaining optimum throttle response. A new route of the throttle cable also makes maintenance easier.
ELECTRIC START AND LITHIUM ION BATTERY
As with all 2019 4-stroke models, the FC 350 starts by simply pressing the button on the electric start. A new 2 Ah lithium-ion battery allows you to take advantage of the electric start, while also keeping the weight to a minimum.
REFRIGERATION SYSTEM
Made of high-strength aluminum, the FC 350’s cooling system uses computational fluid dynamics to channel air through the radiators more efficiently. The cooling system is also integrated into the chassis itself, improving heat dissipation by circulating the liquid through the tubes of the chassis and in turn eliminating the need for additional sleeves.
DESIGN OF THE AIR FILTER CASE THAT MAKES THE USE OF TOOLS UNNECESSARY
Access to the TWIN AIR filter is very simple and tool-free, for quick cleaning and easy maintenance. A precise design of the air intake ducts maximizes air flow and offers higher levels of filter protection.
SELF-CLEANING FOOTRESTS
The chassis of the FC 350 incorporates innovative self-cleaning footrest anchors that prevent the accumulation of mud and facilitate the rapid return of the spring to its original position.
MAGURA HYDRAULIC CLUTCH
The reliable high-quality German MAGURA hydraulic clutch system is virtually maintenance-free and ensures even wear and perfect modulation in any condition. This means that the modulation and free play in the lever are constantly compensated so that the pressure point and the operation of the clutch remain constant regardless of the operating temperature.
