ENGINE

With 40 hp and a total weight of only 17.2 kg, the 125 cc engine shows Husqvarna Motorcycles continued commitment to evolve 2-stroke technology. This lightweight unit has been designed to deliver more torque than traditional 2-stroke engines , which makes the TC 125 easier to pilot, for both beginners and expert professionals. As in the larger displacement engines, the TC 125 centralizes the rotating masses for optimal operation with the rest of the cycle part, resulting in light and agile behavior.

CYLINDER AND PISTON

The 54mm diameter cylinder equips an innovative exhaust valve. Both the main and side exhaust ports share the machined finish of the upper exhaust port for a more precise distribution, offering unmatched 2-stroke performance.

CRANKSHAFT

The crankshaft is made to be as light as possible and perfectly balanced to reduce vibrations. This component is also positioned so that its rolling masses have a minimal effect on the behavior of the motorcycle.

CRANKSHAFT CRANKCASE

The high pressure casting manufacturing process keeps overall weight to a minimum, while a new intermediate gear on the starter lever improves start-up reliability. The iconic Husqvarna Motorcycles logo shines on the bronze-colored walls of the crankcases as a contemporary nod to the legendary 2-stroke engines of the past.

CHASSIS WITH MOLYBDENUM CHROME

In 2019, Husqvarna motocross chassis offer increased stiffness that translates to better riding feel and exceptional energy absorption and straight-line stability. The chassis is finished with a premium powder blue paint coating and standard guards that ensure superior protection and durability.

CARBON FIBER SUBCHASSIS

Made from 70% polyamide and 30% carbon fiber, the exclusive rear subframe has been remodeled with a clever 2-piece design, saving over 250g for a total weight of just over 1kg. Special care has been taken to achieve the ideal stiffness that guarantees optimum levels of behavior and comfort without compromising on quality.

WP AER 48 SUSPENSION

The 48mm split type air fork features an air spring and pressurized oil chamber for more progressive and consistent damping. The fork has renewed adjustments and is easily adjustable through an air valve for preloading, as well as accessible dials. In addition, the air pump necessary to adjust the air pressure at the fork is supplied as standard with the motorcycle.

REAR SUSPENSION WP DCC

With a new main piston and updated adjustments in line with the new front axle configuration and chassis rigidity, the WP DCC rear shock provides advanced damping characteristics. With a balanced pressure inside, uniform cushioning is guaranteed, with the result of greater comfort and maneuverability.

GEARBOX

A brand new 6-speed gearbox made exclusively by PANKL Racing Systems guarantees the highest level of durability and reliability. The gear shift incorporates motocross-specific ratios while the shift lever features an innovative toe design that prevents dirt buildup.

HYDRAULIC CLUTCH

The reliable German high-quality MAGURA clutch system is virtually maintenance-free and ensures even wear and perfect modulation in any condition. This means that the play is constantly compensated so that the pressure point and the operation of the clutch are not affected by temperature or the passage of time.

SELF-CLEANING FOOTRESTS

Self-cleaning footrest anchorages prevent the joint from blocking due to dirt accumulation when driving on ruts or muddy terrain. A system that has been successfully tested and proven in the toughest race and driving conditions.

PRO TAPER HANDLEBAR

Manufactured with the highest precision, PRO TAPER handlebars offer the best fatigue resistance with minimum weight. A new bend in the handlebar increases comfort by improving the pressure point in the rider’s hand area, while the standard hand covers offer maximum protection against impacts.

The TC 125 features a 38mm Mikuni TMX flat gate carburettor. With an updated setting in 2019, this carb provides smooth, controllable power delivery with optimal performance across the entire RPM range.

FUNCTIONAL BODYWORK

The 2019 generation of motocross models features a completely new bodywork that clearly reflects Husqvarna Motorcycles’ innovative design approach to offroad motorcycles. Its Swedish-inspired open-plan design and ergonomics have been specifically studied to provide maximum comfort and control, allowing the rider to perform at their best for longer. After numerous tests, the contact points have also been narrowed to facilitate smooth movements around the bike.

DESIGN OF THE AIR FILTER CASE THAT MAKES THE USE OF TOOLS UNNECESSARY

Designed with very precisely positioned air intake ducts to prevent entrainment and deformation of the air, the airbox ensures the best breathing with maximum filter protection. The TWIN AIR air filter is very easy to access without tools, just removing the left side cover for easy maintenance.
