Description
The Brutale 675 has constituted a new paradigm of technique and style, it has been the motorcycle that for the first time has shown that it is possible to combine maximum performance, exemplary design and exceptional maneuverability with the size and weight of a pure competition bike . The new Brutale 800 RR confirms this winning insight, which originally resided at the core of the project. The latest stock of the Brutale 800 reaches the threshold of 140 hp at 13,100 rpm, and 86 Nm of torque at 10,100 rpm, along with new adjustments and refinement of the chassis and the improvement of the already excellent standard equipment.
The new Brutale 800 RR is dressed in length, making it instantly recognizable. Like the cylinder head painted in red cylinder in sharp contrast to the solid black color of its compact engine. Or the new finish of its Marzocchi inverted fork, which in addition to its functional improvements, sports a new “aged gold” finish. The look and shape of the seat have greatly improved driver and passenger comfort and ergonomics, while sporting new double-stitched seams on the skin. The LED taillight has a new diffusion system that improves the luminosity of its double tail light. The cast aluminum alloy wheels now have a new five-spoke design. Its new colors are striking: Shock Pearl Red / Ice Pearl Ice White, reminiscent of traditional MV Agusta shades, and an elegant Avio Gray Metallic / Carbon Metallic, for those who like more discreet colors.
The MVICs 2.0 (Motor & Vehicle Integrated Control System) platform allows us to approach all electronic management with precision, flexibility and customization. Accuracy since the three factory-adjusted driving environments as standard (sport, normal and rain) allow the driver to manage the torque according to each situation. That we want to practice quick gear changes without activating the clutch? No problem, thanks to the new Quickshifter EAS 2.0 that characterizes the sporting vocation of the RR Brutale 800. It is the first model in its segment to offer an electronically assisted “quick shift”, together with the MV Brutale Dragster RR, which is further proof of MV Agusta’s constant technological progress. Completing this set of technical excellence, we have an anti-rebound clutch, very useful in the case of rapidly reducing gears, cornering or braking in extremis on the track. We have traction control, with 8 sensitivity levels (disconnectable).
In the cycle part, it maintains the same levels as the rest of the three cylinder Brutale family. The wheelbase is only 1,380 mm. As for wheels, the protagonist is its striking Pirelli Diablo Rosso from the rear axle. The chassis structure uses a solution common to the latest generation MV Agusta: an ALS multitubular frame chassis, with aluminum profiles integrated in the rear area that act as a pivot for the swingarm. The suspension uses equally advanced and perfectly integrated components. The Marzocchi inverted fork, 43 mm. in diameter, it uses aluminum struts, being now lighter attractive due to its striking red anodizing. In addition, the DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coating improves its glide and therefore provides greater precision. Behind, the Sachs adjustable damper, 125 mm. travel, keeps its configuration attached to the single-arm swingarm,
