Description
After stopping the production of motorcycles in 1953, Indian returns to the custom market relaunching a model that was legendary in the mid-20th century. The new Chieftain follows the aesthetic keys of always, but in its bowels hides the most modern technology: ABS, speed control, electronic accelerator and keyless start. The engine is the Thunder Stroke 111, a “big twin” of 1,819 cc and 161 Nm of torque, and the aluminum chassis follows a tubular structure. The Chieftain Dark Horse maintains the bagger commitment of this range, with its voluminous fairing that integrates turn signals, light kit and electric screen, but with black as the predominant color. Its rear cases are large and rigid (with remote closure), and its high level of equipment includes elements such as bluetooth audio equipment and analog-digital instrumentation.
