Description
This has meant redefining the priorities of the project: comfort, load capacity, smooth running, low consumption, longer maintenance intervals, everything a customer is looking for when they think of a touring motorcycle. Available in two versions, both share the maximum technology currently available: from the MVCSC (MV Agusta Chassis Stability Control) electronic package to the MVICS 2.0 (Motor & Vehicle Integrated Control System) with inertial platform, through the latest Bosch ABS generation. And following the logical style of MV Agusta, also on a motorcycle intended for tourism, we have adopted the up & down EAS 2.0 electronic gear system available on all different engine maps.
The Turismo Veloce is immediately recognized as an MV Agusta, despite sporting a stylistic concept not unusual for the Schiranna brand. The overall feeling of compactness thanks to the contained dimensions of the three-cylinder engine, further reduced by the presence of the hydraulic clutch control, extends to the entire motorcycle, even with the presence of the side cases. This accessory has actually been the first premise of the overall design of the Turismo Veloce, from which a stylish and aggressive motorcycle has been developed, at the same time functional and innovative. Equipped with a capacity of 30 liters each, they are perfectly integrated into the motorcycle, thanks to a specially designed rear subframe that also incorporates the handles for the passenger.
The unmistakable structure of the MV Agusta chassis, with a front in steel tubes complemented by side sections in aluminum alloy, has been redesigned to respond to the characteristics of the Turismo Veloce. It is also equipped with a light aluminum alloy element that serves both to support the seat of the pilot and passenger seat and to anchor the side cases. The suspensions have also been developed to guarantee great touring comfort and dynamic sports performance. In the Turismo Veloce Lusso version, the Sachs MVCSC system with fork and shock absorber has sophisticated electronic assistance, which allows continuous variation of the hydraulic regulation to adapt the response to the specific conditions of use.
The engine parameters have been altered to, instead of seeking maximum power, achieve a curve as homogeneous as possible, increasing the torque value by 20% compared to the more sporty versions, also obtained at a speed of 2100 rpm less. This is accomplished thanks to redesigned camshaft profiles specifically designed for this purpose, new pistons, a new intake and exhaust assembly and dedicated engine maps, all emphasized thanks to the generally recognized three-cylinder engine scheme. as the theoretically ideal engine, offering great power at low and medium speed and excellent stretch at high turns.
