The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V was made with the essence of a champion that won 6 straight INMRC Championships – the RTR 165 Prototype. Mirroring the design language of ‘Draken’- a concept shown at Auto Expo 2014 – further sharpened the design DNA of this pathbreaking race machine. It was conceptualized to have a compact race design, definitive shape, and an aggressive-forward biased stance. This performance machine is also designed to keep you safe, with Super-Moto ABS.

DEVELOPMENT
The design of the RTR 160 4V has been refined on the racetrack. The form of the machine has a singular function – to be the quickest around the track. The bike has been sculpted to be dynamic through corners, while its sharp edges make it imposing on the circuit. The chequered flag decals pay homage to our winning streak on the track.

RACE DERIVED O3C ENGINE
TVS Apache RTR 160 4V gets a 159.7 cc, 4-valve, oil-cooled engine with patented Race Derived O3C, that churns out max power of 16.02 PS at 8250 RPM. The engine is mated to a 5-speed super-slick gear box that offers a precise and powerful riding experience.
The Race Derived O3C Engine uses an oxygen sensor and high compression to squeeze every ounce of power out of the engine, and into your next lap record. The engine aces to life in the blink of an eye, with an all-new Feather Touch start.
GTT – GLIDE THROUGH TECHNOLOGY
In-built First in segment feature for low speed urban riding which enables an extremely smooth and controlled ride. With this feature, one can start moving the vehicle with a slow release of the clutch lever, without the throttle operation. This is a convenient feature while riding in heavy traffic. The requirement of the synchronization of the clutch lever and throttle lever is eliminated & engine stalling can be eliminated. The maximum speed with GTT feature without throttle
