TVS Motors
TVS was established by T. V. Sundaram Iyengar, a former railway merchant who became independent from his company to found his own business. His first company was called Madurai, the first bus company in India, this in 1911. TV Sundaram founded “TV Sundaram Itengar and Sons Limited”, which exists today under the name of “Caminos del Sur Limitada” or “South Ways Limited “.
In 1955, T. V. S. died, and his sons took it upon themselves to turn the company into an automobile and insurance company. Today TVS Group, has 33 companies, the result of the work carried out by the children of T. V. S., and their investments in the company, already solid by then, which later led to TVS Motors. TVS Motors currently has a presence in more than 60 countries.
