Triumph

Triumph Motorcycles is a motorcycle manufacturer in the United Kingdom, a direct heiress of Triumph Engineering Co Ltd, created in 1936 after the sale of the two-wheeler business by the Triumph Motor Company of Coventry to the motorcycle manufacturer Ariel Motorcycles. When the firm entered into recession in 1983, John Bloor bought the rights and image of the brand, and recast in 1984 the company as Triumph Motorcycles Ltd.
